The Crusaders had luck on their side when they hold on in the final minutes to beat the Hurricanes 30-26 on Saturday.
They started well and took a early lead but it was all Hurricanes in the second half but the Crusaders were able to keep the scoreboard ticking over to eventually had enough when the final whistle went.
The Crusaders was first with points on the board after a penalty to get the scoreboard start ticking over.
It was a more nervous start from the Hurricanes but they were slowly getting into their game.
We were then treated with some Crusaders magic as they went on attack and with a perfect kick by Crotty, Sevu Reece was at the end of the most perfect pickup we have seen all year to score the first try of the match.

The Crusaders was still all over the Hurricanes pinning them down in their own half with the visitors that struggled to exit.
Another penalty extended the host lead to 13-0 and it started to look like they will run away with the game.
The Hurricanes finally started to make some ground but were met with some brilliant defence from the champions. After sustain pressure on the Crusaders the Hurricanes lost the ball and it was kicked down field.
Jordie Barrett was under a lot of pressure falling back to get to the ball but manage to side-step the defence and start a counter attack.
This let to a few phase by the visitors and eventually they got Laumape over for their first points of the match as the hooter went for the half.
This reduce the Crusaders lead to only 13-7 at the break.
The Hurricanes could not ask for a better start to the half when they got the Crusaders on the back foot and send Lam over in the corner to reduce the lead to 1 point.
They then left a ball bouncing which Richie Mo’unga was happy to pick up and score under the sticks to extend the lead again to 20-12.
The game just moved into an extra gear as both teams started to show their talent and class enjoying end to end stuff from both teams.
The Hurricanes then got some class from Laumape when he bounce the ball of his chest to gather and score and made it a one point game again.
The Crusaders under pressure got out of their half and spread the visitors wide to send Reece over for another try on the night.
From the kickoff the Hurricanes got the ball back and with some phases going forward TJ Perenara stretches over to make it again a one point game.
The Crusaders got lucky and got a penalty to extend the lead to 30-26 with 7 minutes to go.
The Hurricanes put all the pressure on the champions in the last 5 minutes but a knock-on in the final minute took the game away from them.
At the end the Crusaders did enough to take the win and the right to host the final against the Jaguares
