Sharks sign Mapimpi for Super Rugby

More great news for the Sharks fans came on Friday when the union announced that Makazola Mapimpi has signed for the Cell C Sharks and will join them just in time for the start of the Super Rugby season.

This came after the Sharks also confirmed this week that WP and Stormers star flyhalf Robert Du Preez will make the move to Durban as well.

The in-form wing has been performing superbly for the Cheetahs in the PRO14 this year, and before that he had a stellar season for the Kings in Super Rugby.

The 2018 Super Rugby season will see the tournament go back to 15 teams after the Kings, Cheetahs and Western Force were axed from the competition following the completion of the 2017 season.
