Jimmy Stonehouse said over the weekend that he will be eager to be the next head coach of the Bulls after John Mitchell has excepted a position with Eddie Jones at England.
Stonehouse are currently with the Pumas after a few years in Japan. Stonehouse told Netwerk24 that he is ‘hoping and praying’ that he would become the new Bulls coach.
“I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this for long. I turned down another offer four weeks ago because I realised I wanted to coach here (in South Africa). I hope I get a chance. If it doesn’t happen this time around, then I know it’s not meant to be.”
Personally I believe Stonehouse will be good at the Bulls and just what he and the Bulls need at this moment in time.
