Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has sacked coach Diego Dominguez and replaced him with Mike Ford, reports Planet Rugby
French rugby site Rugbyrama broke the news on Monday.
Ford was added to the coaching staff of the French giants less than a month ago as a backline coach to try and improve their struggling season. He was previously Director of Rugby at Bath in England but was sacked after a disappointing Premiership season last year.
According to reports in the French media there was unhappiness among the Toulon coaching staff with claims that Ford had complained to Boudjellal about his role, which was apparently too small. Ford also criticised Dominguez’s failure to hold collective meetings with his entire staff.
The relationship reportedly broke down over the last few weeks which prompted Boudjellal to fire Dominguez.
