Vermeulen, Specman and Hendricks in Vodacom Bulls training sqaud

The Bulls have done some requiting for next year’s Super Rugby and although they have no coach yet but they have the names of Vermeulen, Specman and Hendricks in their sqaud.

They are also in advanced stages of securing the services of Springbok hooker Schalk Brits, and they will make an announcement in due course.

Springbok Duane Vermeulen is amongst the new faces in the Vodacom Bulls wider training group for next year’s Vodacom Super Rugby competition. Vermeulen moved from Toulon earlier this year and following a short spell at Kubota Spears in Japan, will now again play his rugby in South Africa.

Janse van Rensburg confirmed the continued trial of Carel du Preez. The former Blitzbok will train with the squad till February, when a final call will be made on his future involvement.

  1. What the heck is the problem with a coach? Are they struggling to get the money to buy out Van Graan at Munster – I thought it was a done deal?

  2. @Bekke: were waiting to sign Britz at hooker. He now has international experience as coach at Boks, because he sure as hell isn’t playing. So 2 for the price of one

  3. @Bekke: Papier is the only player that almost never messes up. Hoe difficult can it be to mess up sitting on the bench. I feel for the guy. How are you supposed to develop if you never play?
