England and Saracens have been given another blow when it was confirmed that Billy Vunipola fractured his forearm during the 15 all draw against Ospreys over the weekend.
The number eight was replaced at half-time after a collision late in the opening period and had an x-ray on Sunday to verify the injury.
Vunipola, who recently returned from a knee issue, will now see a specialist and is a significant doubt for the Six Nations, although a timeframe has not yet been set.
“Billy is due to see a specialist later this week, when a timeframe for recovery may be defined,” said a Saracens spokesman. “But until that time Saracens will make no further comment. Saracens will issue a further statement once Billy has seen a specialist.”
