The meeting on Saturday started with chaos with the stakeholders not happy with EPRU professional arm, EP Rugby limited and the SARU-controlled Super Rugby franchise. The unions finances is in shambles and face liquidation.
There were some altercations that took place when certain clubs where denied entry to the venue with the meeting at one point being put on hold.
There were matters that was on the agenda that was not addressed and these and the financial affairs will be discussed at a special meeting called for on the 28 February. In this meeting a motion of no confidence will be allowed to be put to table against the EP Rugby leadership by delegates.
This gives Watson and his management another month in office of which there is no indications of money being available to pay outstanding salaries.
