Castle Lager Rugby Championship goes ahead in Oz


The New Zealand Herald reported on Monday that the All Blacks will play the Wallabies in Perth on the 4th September and the rest of the Rugby Championships will be played in Queensland.

That means that the Springboks and Argentina have a destination to go to now.

With the Delta variant outbreak in New Zealand and Australia there was plenty of unhappiness when NZR announce through social media last week it will not travel to Perth.

There was talks in the media that the tournament could have moved to Europe and South Africa but greatfully the tournament will go ahead in Australia as planned.

The Herald also confirmed that SANZAAR did decide to keep the tournament in Queensland as planned after Queensland state government agreed that the Springboks and Pumas ca quarantine in Queensland.
