It was no surprise that WPRFU President ensured that no vote could be held against him on Monday night.
@rugby365 reported that it was chaos at the end which saw members walk out of the meeting.
The vote never took places according to the report on @rugby365 due to fighting over technicalities and letter from clubs were not even tabled.
It seems that Marais refused to leave the gathering and he requested clubs to show the minutes of the meeting where they agreed to have a vote of no confidence in him.
He apparently also threaten the clubs that they will be put under administration.
According to the website Rasool letter which was released on Saturday fired some powerful salvos in the direction of Marais.
“[He is] nullifying the established structures of WPRFU and shielded [himself] from oversight,” Rasool said.
This meeting is just another show on how bad it has become at WP Rugby.
Over the weekend we also saw Peter Jooste resigned. He follow others like Kevin Kiewitz and Spencer King, while Junaid Moerat and Mario Williams have been suspended.
It seems it never just rain in WP Boardroom….
