Bad news for Munster and Springboks fans after it was confirmed that RG Snyman has ruptured his ACL again in this weekend match. It was the same injury he had in 2020 which left him on the sideline till two weeks ago.
Munster head coach Johann Van Graan, who was concerned over the injury following the match, had his worst fears came true on Monday.
He said on Monday that everyone feels for him after he worked hard to get back on the field just to be on the sideline again. Van Graan said that Snyman is young and will be working hard again to get back on the park as soon as he can.
He believes RG will get through this and be back to his best.
Snyman would have been a key player in Jacques Nienaber EOY squad as well so from a Springbok perspective it is also a huge blow.
