The Blitzboks have made a great start to the new season in Dubai when they won all three their pool games to end on top of Pool C.

They started the day by beating Ireland 28-7, then made small work of Japan running away with the game and ending up with 52-12 before they end the day with a solid performance against Great Britain with a 31-12 win

Brown converted four tries of which he scored two of them to get pass the Irish in what was not an easy opponent to start the tournament against. They led 14-0 at the break but was able to double their score in the second half. Ireland manage a late try from Cribbin which he converted as well.

The second game against Japan was much easier for the men in green and gold as they put Japan away 52-12. Again they doubled their score in the second half with eight tries as the end.

Japan was unable to keep up with the Blitzboks through out the game. The Blitzboks just showed too much flair and pace for the Japanese team as Siviwe Soyizwapi and Selvyn Davids both scored two tries each.

Great Britain gave the Blitzboks a bit more resistance ending the first half with just a 12-5 lead. The Brits came back and level the score in the second half at 12-all but the class of the Blitzboks showed in the second half as they speed the speed up the game and pounce on the mistakes from GB team.

Three late tries saw the Blitzboks end the game 31-12 to top their pool at the end of day 1.
