The Blitzboks went unbeaten throughout the weekend to claim their 18th straight HSBC World Sevens Series match and came out champions of teh Dubai Sevens.
The USA was no match for the Blitboks in the final and they easily put them away 42-7 in a one sided affair. Ronald Brown, who was alos the player of the final contributed 25 points in the final on Saturday. He scored a hat-trick of tries in the final and converted five.
The Blitzoks camped down in the USA half in that first half and it was Brown who scored after Pretorius wnet over from a quick penalty. At the break the Blitzboks had a 21-0 lead and never looked like they will loose this final.
The were unstoppable in the second half with teh USA only manage to get one try at the end.
After a great firts day the Blitzboks continued their dominance on day 2. They made small work of putting Australia away 29-5 in the quarter final early on Saturday. They had to work a bit harder in the semi final against Argentina but beat them 17-7 to advance to the Final.
At the end teh Blitzboks was the bets side during the weekend and deserve the title at the end. Next weekend they do it all over again in the second round alos in Dubai.
