With the disappointment of last weekend match against the Bulls still fresh in the mind, DHL Western Province coach Dobson has made a few changes to his backline for this weekend second round match against the Xerox Lions.
The starting pack have been left unchanged for the clash.
With Gelant out of action, Willemse will move to fullback which sees Tim Swiel coming in at ten. He will be have Golen Masimla at nine as they form a new halfback combination for this match.
In the midfield Ruhan Nel comes in to start next to Dan du Plessis. Nel had a great impact when he came on against the Bulls in the second half and Dobson will hope he can produce the same against the Lions.
On the bench Lock David Meihuizen, flank Marcel Theunissen and scrumhalf Paul de Wet will get a chance later in the game.
“We know that we will have to be at our best for 80 minutes this weekend if we are going to get the result that we are looking for.
“We have prepared well for this game and everyone is looking forward to the opportunity to show what it means to us to play for DHL Western Province,” he said.
