The Cell C Sharks had their first warmup games on Friday against FNB Pukke and Russia in Durban.

FNB Pukke came out winners against what was clearly a second string side.

The Sharks made a good start leading 19-5 in the warmup match but it was the visitors that had the better in the second half coming back to beat them 31-26.

These warmup games serves as a pretty good platform for the Super Rugby coaches to test his whole squad.
