The Toyota Cheetahs had the worst possible start to 2020 when they were hammered by Zebre 41-13 on Saturday in Parma.

This was the Cheetahs fourth loss in eight games of this season PRO14 competition. Although the Cheetahs scored first through a driving lineout they never were able to stay in the game.

The home side led 20-8 at the break and eventually outscored the Cheetahs with five tries to two.

This was the Cheetahs first game back since November and it showed on the park. They struggled to find any rhythm and just could not keep up with the speed of the game.

There defence was poor and they struggled when they did get the ball in hand.

The wet conditions just did not suit the Cheetahs on the day.

With this loss the Cheetahs is in forth position in Conference A. There next match is only on the 25th January against the Kings in PE
