It was a converted try from Teariki Ben-Nicholas that handed the visitors the win, something not many teams have been able to do in the last 10 matches.
The Brumbies had Fainga’a scoring a hat-trick of tries but was not enough to get the win. It will be a game that they will know was one that should have been won bit lost it at the end.
The Highlanders in only their second match of the season had to bounce back from the disappointment against the Sharks at home last weekend.

It was the home side that scored the first try with a driving maul and Fainga’s getting over for his first of three tries in the match.
The Brumbies got themselves back to an attacking rolling maul which gave Fainga’a his second of the match and a 12-3 lead.
With 15 minutes left in the second half the hooker got his third of the match and it all seemed done and dusted but a late try from Ben-Nicholas scored the winning try for the Highlanders.
