Canterbury’s All Blacks led their side in the second half to a good win over North Harbour in the opening round of this years Mitre 10 Cup.
It was a good first half for North Harbour as they went into the break leading Canterbury 22-21 thanks to five penalties from Gatland.
It was the presence of Richie Mo’unga in the second half that proved vital for Canterbury seeing them winning the game 43-29.
It was Mo’unga cross kick which saw Taylor go over for a crucial try to take them 36-22 in the lead.
North Harbour came back though with a try by Fifita with a few minutes to go but it was George Bridge try that sealed a bonus point win for the visitors.
