    Munster had to put everything in the game to beat Cardiff Blues on Friday in the Guinness PRO14. With two tries to the two of Cardiff Munster got the win 20-11.

    The opening try came from Davies who got over from a good well waited pass from Thomas. Thomas added a penalty before JJ Hanrahan got two penalties over for Munster before the break.

    Both kickers traded penalties in the second half before Jean Kleyn got over for his try and Hanrahan conversion gave Munster the lead.

    A late try Naill Scannell sealed the win for Munster
