    Recap

The Waratahs was just too good for the Force on Friday, beating them 28-8

Western Force Western Force 8 28 NSW Waratahs NSW Waratahs

It was an easy win at the end for the Tahs as they cruised to a 28-0 win. It did not get any better for the force who is still without a win in the revamp Aussie Super Rugby.

Both teams struggled to get going with the Force first to cross the line when Stander chasing down a good grubber from Kahui to score.

The Waratahs hit back with three penalties to take the lead 9-8. No team really took the ascendancy up to them but the momentum slowly shifted to the Waratahs scoring just before and after halftime to take a 23-8 lead in the game.

The Force could not get going and did not really threaten the Tahs in the second half.

The visitors had the last say in the match with Harry Johnson-Holmes getting over to end the game with 28-8.

    Scorers:

Western Force – Try: Brynard Stander. Penalty: Jake Strachan.
Waratahs – Tries: Alex Newsome, Jack Maddocks, Harry Johnson-Holmes. Conversions: Will Harrison (2). Penalties: Harrison (3).
