Match Report – Reds v Sunwolves

The Reds were back at home and secured their first win of the season against a poor Sunwolves side on Saturday. The Reds ran in 10 tries to secure a 64-5 win

More was expected from the Sunwolves as they just not looked like they pitched up for this one. Taking nothing away from the Reds, but the Sunwolves was as poor as we have seen from the men form Japan.

The home side was quick out of the blocks scoring two tries in the opening 10 minutes from Wright and Tupou to give them a 12-0 lead.

The Reds just not let up with the defence off the Sunwolves in shambles as the home side led 36-0 at the break.

The second half saw no difference as the Reds just kept on running at the Sunwolves with the visitors having no answer on defence.

The Sunwolves did get one try on the board when Fifita got over but that was about that for the visitors.
