    France beat Italy in Paris on Saturday to book their spot against England in the Final.

    It was a comfortable win for the French at the end even though they are missing some key players due to an agreement with Top 14 league clubs.

    Italy had the better start leading the French side earlyon after Carlo Canna scored the opening try.

    It did not took long for Les Bleus to come back and eventually score a four-try bonus point win. Debutant Gabin Villiere scored a brilliant solo try.

    A minute’s silence was observed before kick-off at the Stade de France after the death of French rugby legend Christophe Dominici, with a banner in the stands reading ‘Merci Domi’.

    The French did lead with three points at the start when Jalibert kicked a penalty before the try of Canna.

    Jonathan Danty showed incredible power to drive over the line after a dominant French scrum.

    Next Villiere scythed through multiple defenders to score a superb solo try.

    The hosts extended their lead as captain Baptiste Serin went over before Teddy Thomas outpaced Italian defenders down the right wing for the bonus-point score.

    Flanker Sekou Macalou added his first international try to seal a dominant victory for France.
