    Scarlets v Benetton

Scarlets was just too good for the Benetton side, beating them 41-17 .

To be honest Benetton was poor on the day and was never really in the game. It was an important win for Scarlets who has not tasted victory the often this year.

There was some fight from Benetton after the break but the match was already gone for the Italian side.

Scarlets showed their hand early on, turning down a kickable penalty to setup a line out. They came up short from the line out but patience saw Morgan getting over for the first try of the match.

Elias got over for Scarlets again from the line out but the TMO came in and decided the ball was held up.

With Benetton constantly collapsing the scrum the referee had enough and send Baravalle to the bin and he was soon followed by Pasquali.

That made it one way traffic with Costelow going over to extend Scarlets lead.

Scarlets then started to move the ball around and got Morgan in space who showed off his footwork to get over.

Winger Epsosito looked like he scored the first try for Benetton but after replay showed a knock-on, the try was overturned. Benetton did get their try soon after when Sarton got over the line.

Scarlets got back into the game and added a penalty when the rain started to come down.

It was then time for Kalamafoni to get his name on the scoresheet.

Benetton came back with Els scoring from a driving maul but it was Scarlets that had the last say when Asquith scored the last try of the match.
