The Brumbies claimed the Super Rugby AU trophy on Saturday after they beaten the Reds 28-23 in Canberra.
The home side was full value for the win as the held the upper hand for most part of the match and only had to fend off the Reds in the final minutes to secure the title.
There defence has been great throughout the tournament and they had to step up in the final minutes as the Reds launched attack after attack but could not get through.
They outscored the Reds with three tries to two to lift the trophy.
The Brumbies tries came from Folau Fainga’a, Andy Muirhead and Tom Banks with Noah Lolesio contributed 13 points from two penalties, a drop goal and a couple of conversions.
The Reds points came from tries by Harry Wilson and Angus Blyth while James O’Connor added three penalties and two conversions.
