It will be a repeat of last years Super Rugby AU final with the Reds and Brumbies fighting it out for Aussie supremacy. The only difference is that the Reds will welcome the Brumbies to Brisbane.
With a hard fought win of 21-9 over the Western Force the Brumbies have a shot to retain their title next weekend.
The Brumbies scored two tries in their playoff clash with the Force points coming form the boot of Miotti. The Brumbies defence was again top notch giving the Force no space to attack.
The Brumbies started well making most of the play and looked good on attack. Handling was not great from the champions but one must give credit to the Force with their defensive effort they put in to force the mistakes from the home side.
The Force took the early lead against the run of play really but the Brumbies hit back immediately from the kick-off with Banks founding space to get over for the first try of the match.
With the conversion over from Lolesio the Brumbies took the lead minutes before the break.
The Force was given a huge blow when Pulu was given a red card after he made contact with the head of Godwin in the tackle.
The Brumbies like any good side took full advantage of this and Tom Banks got over in the corner which gave them a 12-3 lead at the break.
The Force reduced the lead early in the second half with another penalty from Miotti. The Force never gave up and kept coming at the Brumbies when they got the ball.
Going into the final ten minutes Lolesio and Miotti traded penalties to take the scoreboard to 15-9.
The Brumbies finished the game the strongest with Ryan Lonergan getting two more penalties over to secure the win of 21-9 and a place in the final next week.
