    Vodacom Bulls v Xerox Lions

The Bulls showed their meturity throughout the 80 minutes to beat a Lions side who came to play. The Bulls had a 11-0 lead at the break thanks to their general Steyn kicking two penalties and Jacobs going over for the only try of the first half.

The second half was a much tighter affair with the Lions getting back in the game with tow tries in quick succession.

The Bulls replied with two tries of their own and another penalty from Steyn.

The Lions would feel that they should have done more in that first half having most of the possession and running hard on attack but errors crept in and they just could not covert all that pressure and possession into points.

With great tries from Alberts and Simelane the Lions got back in the game making the score 14-all but the Bulls rolling maul yet again showed their power to get Grobbelaar over.

Yellow cards for Orie and Alberts left the Lions with only 13 men on the field.

The Bulls took advantage of this which allowed Jacobs to get over for his second try of the match after a great chip kick by Smith.

The Lions never gave up and were rewarded with a try from Burger Odendaal but it was just too late and they ended 5 points short of the Bulls

This win means the Bulls will host the final after the ended the regular season on top of the log.
