Exeter Chiefs has achieved which not many sides have done in winning the European Champions Cup as well as the Premiership Title.
It was an early penalty from Gopperth that gave Wasps the early lead but that was quickly cancelled out with a try from Henry Slade.
Jacob Umaga got over to Wasps in the lead but two penalties from Simmonds gave the Chiefs the lead going into halftime.
In the second half the rain came down in bucket’s which saw Gopperth kicking another penalty before Simmonds replied with a penalty of his own.
Exeter had to defend to keep Wasps out but it was Simmonds lat penalty that sealed the win and the championship for the Chiefs.
This win came sevens days after they beat Racing 91 in the European Champions Cup final which makes them only the forth English side to win the double.
