There is a huge concern at the moment to see if the French Government will allow their national team to travel for their opening matches in the Six Nations.

This comes after they requested their clubs not to travel in the next two weeks for the European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup matches.

The Minister of Sport Maracineanu said that she is waiting for guarantees from other governments to allow the the French side to face Ireland and England in the Six Nations next month.

They suppose to start their campaign against Italy on the February 6 and then travel to Twinkenham to face England.

She said she needs guarantees from Ireland and England to make to proof that their virus framework respects the same requirements in terms of precaution.
