Connacht got a well deserved win against the Dragons on Friday with tries from Matt Healy, Abraham Papali’i, Caolin Blade and Tom Daly.
Richard Hibbard scored three tries for the home side but that was not enough on the night.
This has given Connacht now four straight away wins with the Dragons loosing streak growing to six.
Davies got the first points on the board for the home side with a penalty but Connacht responded with the first try of the match when Healy got his hands on a cross kick from Carty.
Their second try came off a line out when Delahunt put Papli’i away.
The Dragons responded with Hibbard first try in his 50th appearance for the Dragons. He soon got his second again from a attacking line out drive.
Carty levelled the scores at 13-13 which is the score-line the teams went into the break.
Soon after the restart Connacht took the lead with another brilliant offload from Delahunt to Blade who went over.
The Dragons hit back with Hibbard third try from another driving line out but Daly scored the bonus point try for the visitors soon after.
Carty added a drop goal which denied the Dragons a loosing bonus point.
This leaves the Dragons in fifth place in Conference A while Connacht closed the gap on Muster who leads Conference B.
