This weekend sees the return of the Champions Cup for Round 5 as things are hotting up in this years competition.

Here is the current Pool Standings:

There are two matches on Friday to start the weekends matches.

A lot is up for grabs when La Rochelle and Sale Sharks meet on Friday. The number 2 spot in Pool 2 is their for the taking.

This is a rematch of last years Challenge Cup semi-final and we expect a huge game yet again between these two sides.

The two teams have me twice with each taking a win with the host coming off a win in Round 4 against Glasgow.

Sale do not have a great away record against Top14 sides and last won in 2008 against Clermont.

This is going to be an interesting match and will be live on SuperSport at 21:40 of Friday.

The first game on Saturday that we will be able to see is Ospreys hosting the Champions Saracens.

The defending champions will be out to keep their hopes of retaining the Champions Cup alive when they travel to Liberty Stadium.

Saracens have not lost against Ospreys in the Champions Cup and they will want to keep it that way. The closest the host came was a draw in the 2017/18 season at Liberty Stadium.

The Champions also have a great record against Welsh sides with their last loss against the Blues on 2000.

It has been the worst run for Ospreys so far losing all of their matches.

With the poor form shown by Ospreys it looks like this will be another win for the Champions.

This match will be broadcast live on SuperSport on Saturday at 14:55

The second game being broadcast on Saturday will be against Gloucester and Montpellier.

This will only be the second time the two teams meet in the Champions Cup.

Montpellier won the Round 2 matchup 30-27 at the GGL Stadium.

The French outfit do not have a great record against English sides away from home only winning once in 2012/13 against Sale.

Gloucester record against the French is also nothing to write home about losing the last three matches against the Top14 sides in Champions Cup.

This is going to be one match to look out for this weekend.

The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport at 19:25

Other Matches on Saturday:

Clermont v Ulster

Glasgow v Exeter

Connacht v Toulouse
