Toulouse has given Ulster their first home defeat at home in 26 matches Friday night when they beat them 29-22.
In an thrilling first round European Champions Cup contest it was tries by Madigan, Kolbe and Dupont that gave the visitors the win.
Ulster took the lead early on with a try from Rob Herring. The weather was not great but both teams came out to play which gave us an exciting game.
Ulster gave up opportunities early on to kick for points and going for the line to setup a maul. It paid off when Herring got over from a rolling maul.
The second try did not take long with Madigan got over. Ulster were playing with confidence but Toulouse came back at them with great try.
It was the magic of Springbok World Cup hero Cheslin Kolbe who chipped and chased that reduced the lead on the 20 minute mark.
As exciting the first quarter was the sides went into their shells in the second quarter testing each other in the rain.
With halftime fast approaching, the home side looked like they will lead at the break but Dupont sniped through to give the visitors a two point lead at the break.
In the second half the battle upfront became more intense which saw the power of Toulouse pack sending Arnold over.
Ulster stayed in the contest and with another rolling maul they got Herring over for his second try of the match.
Toulouse secure the game with 15 minutes to go when it was again Kolbe providing the spark when he stepped his way through for the final try of the match.
