Ireland did not had it all their way on Saturday when they beat Argentina 28-17 at the end.

The Pumas was very much in this test and it took some digging deep from the Irish to eventually pull this one through.

The score is not a reflection of the test and they will have to up their game for next weeks test against the All Blacks.

There was little in the test at halftime, with Kieran Marmion and Bundee Aki going over for the hosts and Bautista Delguy responding for the Argentinians.

Sanchez also slotted three penalties to give Argentina a 17-15 lead at the break.

Ireland finally took control of the test when Luke McGrath went over for his try and a few penalties from Sexton.

It was eventually the quality and experience from the Irish that pulled them through.

They were put under a lot of pressure in the first quarter of the match.

Next week is the All Blacks as the number one and two ranked teams clash and it is going to be a massive test.
