Match Preview – Bristol Bears v Wasps

Exciting match-ups again this weekend in the English Premiership and it starts with the Bears against Wasps on Friday.

Here is the Current Standings:

2021 Gallagher English Premiership

Bristol are unbeaten in their last four rounds of the Premiership and will want to keep it that way with their six points clear on the log.

Wasps on the other hand have won just once in their last six fixtures which may look like an uphill battle against the log leaders.

One thing that do count for Wasps is that they have won their last eleven matches in the Premiership against Bristol.

Nathan Hughes will make a return for the home side this weekend.

We also see the return of Charles Piutau and Bryan Byrne for the Bears while Tiff Eden will make his first start since December with Daniel and Yann Thomas are named in the pack.

Charlie Powell will make is first Premiership appearance of the season from the bench.

For Wasps we see two changes to the starting line-up with Sione Vailanu making his first start this season.

In the backs we see Gopperth at inside centre with Owlett that could make his first appearance of the season off the bench.
