The Cheetahs who had their game cancelled against the Lions and coning of a bye last week, will get back into it against the Sharks this Friday in Durban.
The Sharks had a great game last week against the Pumas after they went down to the Bulls the week before.
This is going to be a massive clash for both sides to keep winning ways and not let the Bulls pull away on the log. The Cheetahs only got two points from the Lions game after it was cancelled due to COVID-19, which means it is points to make up against the Bulls.
The two teams seemed to be very even if you look at the match-ups.
Two great packs who will challenge each other with both teams having the players to challenge the ball on teh ground and backs that can score tries.
For the Cheetahs Jeandré Rudolph and Khutha Mchunu will be making their debut for the Toyota Cheetahs. Fans will be happy to see that Oupa Mohoje has been named on the bench for this weekend.
All-in-All Cheetahs coach Fourie made three changes in his starting lineup.
Small-Smith replace Janse van Rensburg, Davis and JP du Preez will replace Wiese and Steenkamp.
The Sharks will have to do without captain Lukhanyo Am who will be out for four weeks. Henco Venter will take over the captaincy with Ward that will take his place in the midfield.
Some good news for the Sharks supporters is that Notshe has been cleared and will play off the bench.
Yaw Penxe will make his first start for the Sharks after coming off the bench last week. Penxe replace the injured Springbok Nkosi.
Werner Kok will also return to the starting XV as the only other change in the backline.
This game for us will be won with the packs, whoever dominate the set pieces will have the inside line as both sides have explosive backs.
Prediction: This was a difficult one, so we went with the homeside by 8
