Match Preview – Highlanders v Crusaders

It is week four of Super Rugby Aotearoa and this week see the Highlanders and the Crusaders kicking off the round in New Zealand on Saturday morning.

The Crusaders are two for two while the Highlanders have one win and one loss behind their name so far in the competition.

Although playing away from home the Saders will go in as favorites for the win having beaten the Highlanders seven times out off the last eight encounters between the two teams.

Scoring 40 points against the Highlanders as an average per game is not a record the home side will want to remember and will want to be much better when they take on the quality side of the Crusaders.

The one thing the Highlanders will have to get right on Saturday is man-up against the Saders pack. You just can not beat them if you can not match them in pack.

Scott Robertson has made five changes to his side for the match. Jordan will move to the right wing to make way for Havili at fullback.

With Hall and Bridge being rested, Drummond and Faingaanuku will start the game.

We also see Ethan Blackadder getting a start as well as Tom Christie.

The home side have made some changes as well with Daniel Lienert-Brown, Liam Coltman and Jeff Thwaites packing down in the front row.

Under the roof we can expect plenty off tries and some exciting rugby so do not miss out on Saturday.

The game will be live on SuperSport HD1 at 09:00.

Predictions: Can not see the Crusaders going down even away from home, Saders by 15
