Match Preview: Rebels v Brumbies

The Brumbies will want to consolidate their position at the top of the log when they face the Rebels on Friday.

In the first round of the revamp Super Rugby AU the Brumbies beat the Rebels 31-23. The Rebels will be looking to reverse this result come Friday.

It looks like it will be wet conditions which will make a running game difficult for both teams. Taking your points when on offer will be crucial and the Rebels will want to prevent the Brumbies to build a lead like they did in their first game.

The Brumbies made only one change to their starting XV with Andy Muirhead coming in on the wing.

Rebels coach Wessels has made a few changes this week. Andrew Deegan gets a start pushing Matt To’omua to the midfield and Campbell Magney coming back into the side.

James Tuttle will come in for the injured Louwrense after he torn his bicep.

Prediction: The Rebels will have a good chance to take the win but we go with the Brumbies by 7
