Bristol is now 11 points clear at the top of the English Premiership log after beating Wasps 37-20 on Friday.
It was Wasps that got into an early lead when they got their first try through Sione Vailanu but the Bears hot back almost immediately with O’Conor’s try.
Eden then got three penalties over before Gopperth got a long-range penalty over to make the halftime score 16-13 for Bristol.
The Bears came out in the second half still dominating play and Joyce got over for his try.
There was also a try for Adeolokun with ten minutes to go before Bassett got a lat try for Wasps. The Bears had the last say in the match with another try, this time from Vui went over for a deserved bonus point win
