New Zealand Super Rugby Aotearoa kicks off in June

The Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa will kick off in June following the announcement that the country will move level two alert with the CONVID-19 pandemic.

New Zealand Rugby has confirm that all their Super Rugby sides will play in a home and away tournament starting on the 13th June.

This gives players and coaches four weeks to get ready for the tournament that will see New Zealand kick-start their rugby after been in lock-down since April.

Rugby and Netball will resume under the level two guidelines.

The tournament will run over 10 weeks with two matches over a weekend. All these matches will be played in closed stadiums.

Fans would only return to the stadiums once the New Zealand Government has approve the gathering off mass crowds again.

In the opening weekend we will see the Highlanders playing the Chiefs in Dunedin and the Blues playing the Hurricanes in Auckland.

All matches will be played live on Sky Sport.
