The RFU has announced that there will be no relegation at the end of this season for Premiership teams.
The biggest reason for this decision was due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the game since last year April. This also means that no side form the second tier are facing relegation to the National League One.
The Premiership league will operate with 13 teams in 2021/22 and the new structure has the support of the clubs.
