The second game on Tuesday sees the Vodacom Bulls traveling to Nelspruit to face the Pumas, a side that beat them during the Currie Cup competition at the same venue.
Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse has made a number of changes to his side after their first match against the Lions 10 days ago.
In the backs Stonehouse only kept Devon Williams and in the forwards he stuck with Brandon Valentyn, Pieter Jansen Van Vuuren, Prinsloo and Ntaunde.
Like all the other teams in the competition coaches wants to give all their squad players opportunity to start and show their worth.
The Bulls on the other hand had decided to stick to what was working last time around as Jake White kept the same starting XV.
Carr will again lead the Bulls side in Nelspruit with a few changes on the bench for this match.
Nolan Pienaar, Bernard van der Linde, Clinton Swart, Henco Beukes, Willie Potgieter and Richard Kriel will all make their impact felt later in the match.
The match will be live on SuperSport at 18:55
