PRO14 – Cardiff with brilliant second half take win over Edinburgh

The last PRO14 match for this season was played on Monday when Cardiff come back in the second half to beat Edinburgh 34-15.

The win ensure a forth place for Cardiff and they kept their hope alive for a spot in the Champions Cup.

It was a brilliant second half from the home side after being down 10-3 at the break.

The visitors took the lead with a Charlie Savala penalty in his debut match for Edinburgh. Evans did get his second one over to level things up at 3-3.

The first try came from the visitors as well when Taylor finished off a great move to score for Edinburgh. The try was converted by Savala which gave them a 10-3 lead at halftime.

The Blues got an early penalty in the second half to reduce the lead with the boot of Evans before the home side scored their first try of the match through Belcher. 

That gave them the lead in the match for the first time and it di don’t took long for them to get their second try this time Lee-Lo crossing the white-wash. This came from another Morgan break with great work by Feb Thomas before Lee-Lo rounded it off.

With Evans conversion over the Blues lead was 20-10.

Taylor got then his second try of the match which went unconverted but reduced the Blues lead again.

It was then Evans turn for the Blues as the fly-half went over under the sticks. he converted his own try to give the Blues again a handy lead.

The bonus point try came from Ratti which gave the Blues a stunning win at home
