Leinster did it again on Saturday when they beat Ulster 27-5 to PRO14 Final to retain their championship.
This ended the perfect season for the champions as they won every single PRO14 game. They were just to good for Ulster scoring three tries through James Lowe, Robbie Henshaw and Caelan Doris, while fly-half Ross Byrne kicked 10 points.
This has now taken them to seven league titles and their fifth title in eight years.
Byrne kicked the champions to a 10-5 lead after tries from Hume and Lowe.
It was Ulster with the perfect start when O’Conner pull-back pass send Hume away for a 40 meter run to score the first try of the final in the corner.
The conversion was unsuccessful which then saw Leinster building momentum. It took not long for Leinster to reply and it was a cut-out pass that put Lowe over for their first try.
The conversion by Byrne was over which gave the home side a 7-5 lead.
Ulster had their changes but could not finish off some great play midway through the half.
Byrne kicked another penalty for Leinster to take their lead to 10-5.
The last try came nine minutes from time when Doris drove over under the post.
Unbeatable. Undefeated. Unreal.@leinsterrugby lift the trophy for the 7️⃣th time 🏆
