Pro14 Match Report – Munster beat Cardiff to go top of conference

Munster went to the top of Conference B after they beat Cardiff on Monday 38-27.

Cardiff got on the board early with a try from Lee-Lo but twp tries from Gavin Coombes gave Munster a 17-13 lead at the break. They went on to get their bonus point to secure the top spot in their conference.

In the second half Kevin O’Byrne, Jack O’Donoghue and JJ Hanrahan also went over for Munster with Aled Summerhill and Willis Halaholo touching down for Blues.

Both Munster and Cardiff came into the match unbeaten after winning their first two opening games of the season.

Ben Healy kicked a penalty and four conversions for the home side, and Cradiff Evans landing two penalties and three conversions.
