Glasgow Warriors will travel to Connacht in their opening match for the new season. Both sides failed to reach the playoffs last season.
With a poor start to the season they eventually did not have enough to make the playoffs and that will be something they would want to rectify this season.
Butler will lead the Connacht side again this seaosn and he will be joined in the second row by Paul Boyle and a young star in the making Conor Oliver.
It is again a impressive backline that performed well last season in players like Kieran Marmion, Jack Carty and Bundee Aki while youngster Peter Sullivan gets a second start on the wing.
There is a huge experience look in the the Warriors side with 17 of the 23 that has represented their country at senior level.
Nairn will get his first start for Glasgow since the opening match last season and will be joined in the back-three by Tommy Seymour and Huw Jones.
Fotu Lokotui will make his Warriors debut from the bench.
We should see a great battle between Aki and McDowall in the midfield.
We will also keep an eye out for the back row battle between Butler and Wilson.
