Munster kept their unbeaten record when they beat Ospreys 38-22 over the weekend.

It was a hat-trick of tries by Gavin Coombes that secure them the win. This gave them a bonus point win which gave them a massive 8 point lead on the log.

Munster was in control throughout the game as they led 24-10 at the break thanks to tries by Coombies, Haley and O’Byrne. Ospreys try in the first half came from Morgan.

Coombes scored two more times in the second half with Lake getting on for Ospreys. Ospreys also got a penalty try in that second half.

Ospreys did not had a good start so far with only two wins from six matches.

In the only other game over the weekend, Scarlets beat Connacht 20-14.

They had to fight hard for the win and had to held off a desperate Connacht side late in the match to hold on to the win.

Scarlets hero on the day was Conbeer who scored two tries on either side of Papli’i’s try to give them a six point lead at the break.

Dane Blacker increased their lead in the second half before Dillane came back with a try for Connacht.

This win saw Scarlest jumped to second place on the log begind Munster.

Connacht at least got a bonus point out of the game but remain fifth on the log.
