Reds Vunivalu suspended for pub incident


Reds have dropped Suliasi Vanivalu from their squad for Fridays Super Rugby AU opener against the Waratahs in Brisbane due to disciplinary isseus.

According to reports the flyer has also received a AUS$10,000 fine for allegedly pushing a security guard in a Pub.

He has been charged and set to appear in court on the 19th April.

The player said he is embarrassed to be in this position and he has apologise to Queensland Ruby Union and his teammates.

The incident happened on the 30th January but the club was only made aware of this last week. The Franchise said via a statement that Vunivalu has brought the franchise and game into disrepute.
