Sale Sharks beat Quins in Premiership Cup Final


Sale Sharks came back from behind to beat Harlequins in the Premiership Cup Final to win their first trophy since 2006.

It was two late tries by the Sharks that secure the win in the final in a tense affair.

Sale Sharks led 10-0 early on but fourteen points by Marcus Smith boot and a try from James Chisholm gave Quins a 19-10 lead.

It was Dan Du Preez try with a penalty from his big brother Robert that gave them the lead again but they sealed the win with a try by Springbok Faf de Klerk.

De Klerk came off the bench to seal the victory for his English club.
