The Sharks have been hard at work to look at bolstering their squad for the 2020 season and beyond.

They have already snapped up Lions James Venter and Madosh Tambwe.

They have also announced in the week that Springbok Sikhumbuzo Notshe will move up the coast from Cape Town to Durban.

With loosing the Du Preez twins after Super Rugby, it was always expected that the Sharks would looked beyond their borders to find replacements.

Notshe was early in his career identified as a player to watch but never really got to his full potensial at WP Rugby. Injuries also did not help so maybe a change is as good as a holiday for the Springbok.

James Venter and Modosh Tambwe had a great Currie Cup and were standout players for the Golden Lions.

Tambwe were scoring tries left right and centre throughout the season and are that one player that we thought will become a great player sooner rather than later.

He played for the Lions at U18 and U19 level. He made his Super Rugby debut in 2017 and he scored four tries against the Stormers in 2018.

There are also talks about Henco Venter and Ox Nche that is coming to Durban.

No one has to explain what great signing Ox will be for the Sharks. He is a future Springbok and one of the great prospect in South Africa at the moment.

We will look how the franchises go with their off-season signings but it would be interesting to see how they coupe with the exodus that is happening after every World Cup year.
