The Brumbies went back to the top of the standings when they beat the Waratahs 38-11 on Saturday outscoring them with 6 tries to 1.
It was the same old, same old from the Waratahs as they struggled to put another good performance in consecutive weeks together.
Tom Wright and Pete Samu scored twice for the home side as they outplayed the Waratahs throughout the match.
This was a record sixth straight win for the Brumbies over the Waratahs and long gone are the days of this being a premier fixture in Australia.
The game got off to a poor start with the officials awarding a try which was clearly seen as Lonergan being in front of the kicker
It was easy for the Brumbies to find the poor defence of the Tahs.
There second try came from Muirhead which gave them a 12-6 lead.
Only one point separated the sides at the break after the Tahs scored just before the break.
The second half saw the Brumbies moving away quickly and the Waratahs had no answer to it.
Four more tries saw the home side quickly build up a score.
All in all not the epic clash we expected.
