The Pumas has comeback after a disappointing start to their campiagn last week against the Cheetahs the Pumas came to Kimberley and surprised Griquas and many supporters when they beat them 27-21 on Saturday.
Griquas did not live up to the great performances from their first round against the Bulls at Loftus and where quickly on the back foot.
The Pumas forwards laid the groundwork dominating the set pieces with Fouche controlling the game. Their kicking game was brilliant and that was backed up by some great defence.
The Pumas went into a 17-6 lead with two brilliant tries from Smuts and Taljaard.
Griquas did answer back with a try from Sekekete from a brilliant driving maul.
Griquas could not step up in that second half and it was Fouche that extended the Pumas lead before Griquas got their second try from Devon Williams.
Griquas just could not get continuity and had to settle for their second loss in the tournament.
