Super Rugby Unlocked – Vermeulen back to lead Bulls against Cheetahs


The Vodacom Bulls will have their captain Duane Vermeulen back in the starting XV to face the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

Vermeulen was left out of the Bulls first game last week against the Griquas due to a niggle but is fit and ready to lead the Bulls this weekend.

Jake White has made five changes tho his side for this clash. Fan will be excited the see Clinton Swart in the midfield as he will make his debut for the Bulls slotting in next to Cornal Hendricks.

With Vermeulen back, Tim Agaba will rest this weekend while Johan Grobbelaar get a chance in he front row next to Trevor Nyakane and Jacques van Rooyen.

We also see a change at nine with Springbok Embrose Papier replacing another Springbok Ivan van Zyl who will drop to the bench.

The last change to the side side sees Jade Stighling coming in on the left wing for Travis Ismaiel.

On the bench we also have U21 star Joe van Zyl set to make his senior debut with Gerhard Steenkamp replacing the injured Lizo Gqoboka.

Carr will also get his chance coming in on the bench for Elrigh Louw.

The game will be played on Friday at 19:00 and will be live on Super Sport.
